From 9 a.m. April 6 to 9 a.m. April, 7, a revolving number of Health, Physical Education and Recreation students biked, ran and altogether remained active for 24 hours straight outside the Milo Bail Student Center Plaza.

The students, as part of an Organization and Administration of Physical Education class this semester, were studying how many calories can be burned in a 24-hour period, which, it turns out, was 43,382.

The event was a fundraiser for the Alliance of Fitness Professionals.
