This spring the University of Nebraska at Omaha will host another TED Talk series.
Ticket sales for TEDxUNO 2016 are going strong with nearly half of the seats in Strauss Performing Arts Center sold for the Feb. 13 event.
Organizers are now seeking volunteers to help make the event a success.
This year’s Ted Talks theme is “Breaking Through.” The lecture series will feature several thought-provoking presentation in 18 minutes or less to a small audience. For the full line-up of speakers, click here.

Volunteers duties range from checking in attendees to ushering and assisting with art projects during breaks. Two volunteer shifts are available to sign up for: 10 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. and 1:45 PM – 6 p.m.
