The 5th Annual Village Pointe Wine Festival this weekend will feature samples of more than 150 wines.
Tickets are $55, and the event presented by Brix benefits the Ronald McDonald House of Omaha. For every festival ticket sold, the non-profit will receive $10.
The event, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, also will feature food samples from some of the shopping center’s restaurants, such as Kona Grill, Firebirds Wood Fired Grill, Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse, BRAVO! Cucina Italiana and Brix Bistro Riedel brand crystal tasting glass.
Participants must have a ticket and be 21 to enter the tented sampling area on the “Main Street” of the center at 168th Street and West Dodge Road.
The event will be held rain or shine, and tickets are nonrefundable.
Free concerts will be held 6:30 to 8:30 each night at the Alegent Health Amphitheatre.
