If the phrase “roses are red, violets are blue,” comes to mind when you think of poetry, you are in desperate need of enlightenment. Luckily for you, an opportunity for enlightenment is coming Wednesday, April 17, at 7:30 p.m.
Susan Aizenberg will be bringing her newest collection, *Muse, to the Weber Fine Arts Museum for a free reading. The reading is part of the Missouri Valley Reading Series and is sponsored by the Writer’s Workshop Department here at UNO.
UNO is nothing new to Aizenberg as she used to teach here and is currently an assistant professor of English at Creighton University. This would be a good chance to hear her collection before its impending publication.
