Texas Roadhouse will host a rib eating challenge 7 p.m. June 24 in the center plaza of the Shadow Lake Town Center in Papillion.
The Papillion Fire and Police Departments will compete to win $1,000 for their charity of choice. The runner up will receive $500 for charity. The charities selected are the Papillion Helmet and Shield and the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Country music starts at 6:30 p.m. Spectators can enjoy dancing, food and drinks as vendor booths will be set up through out the plaza area.
