UNO students who want to try their hand at a few recreational activities — including ice skating, curling and hockey — can do so for free at the Baxter Arena during the following times listed.
Ice skates are available to rent at Baxter Arena for free or you can bring your own. A sponsored guest is allowed for a $5 fee and they can rent skates for $3.
Open Skating through April 30.
Tuesdays: 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Wednesdays: 9:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
Thursdays: 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Saturdays: 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Sundays: 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Open Curling from Jan. 19 through April 19.
Jan. 19: 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Jan. 24: 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Feb. 7: 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Feb. 16: 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
March 6: 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
March 15: 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
April 19: 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
