Despite the cold and rainy weather, the Claussen-Leahy Run Walk drew a record high of 1,987 participants.
Held at Aksarben Village, the event featured a performance by the Heartland Hoedowners, followed by a 2k, 5k and 10k run walk. Donations and sponsors were instrumental to the organization and success of the event.
Body Basics has been a longtime supporter of the Run Walk for the past 27 years and has contributed over $21,500 in prizes.
