Swimming and Diving third in first Summit League Championships

This past weekend was a first for the UNO swimming and diving team.  The Mavs packed their bags and rolled into Rochester, Mich., home of Oakland University, to compete in their first swimming and diving conference championships as members of The Summit League.
The Mavs opened the meet in third, moved into second thanks to some strong Friday performances but edged out on the final day of competition by IUPUI.
 


Madeline Hutt’s specialty is paying off big for the UNO swim team

When Madeline Hutt began her career in competitive swimming, she sabotaged her mother's plans for the future.  Hutt's mom had entered her in a butterfly event, but Hutt knew she was destined for the breaststroke.


HPER hosts free swim camp

Two non-profit organizations teamed up with UNO to provide a two-week swim camp to about 50 Omaha children at the HPER building.


Swimming and Diving tops Nebraska-Kearney

The UNO swimming and diving team defeated Nebraska-Kearney on Saturday by a score of 163-90.  The victory comes a day after their 109-185 loss to Nebraska-Lincoln.
