Mavs sweep Southwest Baptist, improve to 34-6

The UNO Softball team continued its winning ways this past weekend, sweeping both Central Missouri and Southwest Baptist at Claussen-Westgate Field.  The four wins moved the Mavs' record to 34-6 and 11-1 in the MIAA.


UNO Wrestling program may move to St. Louis

It seems the UNO Wrestling team may be resurrected after all, this time in suburban St. Louis.

Mavs sweep Griffons, extend win streak to three

The UNO Women's Tennis team seems to be hitting its stride when it matters most.


Baseball drops three of four against No. 6 Central Missouri

Last weekend at No. 1 Emporia State, the UNO baseball team was able to earn a series split, handing the Hornets their second and third losses of the season.  The losses dropped Emporia out of the top spot in the MIAA standings and set up another big weekend series against a Central Missouri team ranked just ahead of the Mavs.

Maverick baseball blanks Lopers 5-0

The UNO baseball team was back in Omaha Tuesday to take on in-state rival Nebraska-Kearney.  Seven Maverick pitchers took the mound, scattering six hits and keeping the Lopers off the scoreboard in a 5-0 victory.
