The UNO Student Health office may begin treating faculty and staff soon, said Assistant Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs Rita Henry during open forum at the March 3 Student Senate meeting in the Milo Bail Student Center Ballroom.
Seven days of service shapes up
Instead of soaking up sun on a Florida beach or partying spring break away, some UNO students have pledged to make a difference in their local communities this March. The UNO Education Department is sponsoring its ninth annual Seven Days of Service. Hundreds have answered the call to use March 19 and March 21-26 to volunteer in more than 20 individual service projects around the metro area.
O’Connor, Harrell voted new student president/regent and vice president
Junior political science major Liz O'Connor and senior sociology and political science major Bret Harrell were voted student president/regent and vice president following Tuesday's election. The pair defeated their opponents, senior geology major Ryan Tefft and senior accounting major Eric Hansen, by 401 votes.
