April 2-8: The Rose Theater, 2001 Farnam St., will present “The Bridge to Terabithia.” Show times are Friday at 7 p.m., as well as Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. Admission is $16. Members are free.
April 7-24: UNO Theatre will present “The Fantasticks!” in the Weber Fine Arts Building. The show runs April 7-10 at 7:30 p.m. and April 21-24 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 for general admission, $10 for seniors, $5 for non-UNO students with valid ID and free for UNO students with a MavCard.
April 8: Country music stars George Strait and Reba McEntire will perform at the Qwest Center at 7 p.m. Tickets start at $79.50.
April 8: Christian group Casting Crowns will be performing at the Mid-America Center at 7 p.m. Tickets are $18-$65.
April 9-10: Women Who Weld, an art exhibit by local metal sculpture artist Melinda Eames, will take place at the Bancroft Street Market, 2702 S. 10th St. The event will be open April 9 from 7-10 p.m. and April 10 from noon-9 p.m. Admission is free.
April 9-11: The Spring Festival – An Arts and Crafts Affair will take place at the Qwest Center Friday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $7 for adults, $6 for seniors and free for children 10 and under.
April 10: Freestyle Motocross: Gravity Slashers will be at the Qwest Center at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for children are $6-$32. Adults are $11-$32.
April 10: Comedian, actor and writer Rodney Carrington will perform at the Omaha Civic Auditorium, 1804 Capitol Ave., at 7 p.m. Tickets are $39.75.
April 11: The Omaha Symphony will present “Peter and the Wolf” at the Holland Performing Arts Center. The show starts at 2 p.m. and tickets are $7-$9.75.
April 14: Metropolitan Community College South Omaha Campus will host an International Fair 2010 from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Educational and cultural displays and food from around the world will be available for visitors. Admission is free.
April 16-May 9: The Omaha Community Playhouse will present “Mister Roberts,” a show about American sailors. Show times are Wednesday-Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Admission is $38 for adults and $24 for students.
April 20: The U.S. Army Field Band will perform at the Boys Town Music Hall, 13615 Flanagan Blvd. Admission is free.
April 22-May 15: The Brigit Saint Brigit Theatre Company will present “Mrs. Warren’s Profession.” Shows are at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $22 for adults and $18 for seniors, students and military.
April 23: Blue October will perform at the Sokol Auditorium. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the concert begins at 8 p.m. Admission is $35.
April 23-24: The Omaha Symphony will present “All-American Fanfare,” a patriotic concert, at the Holland Performing Arts Center, 1200 Douglas St. The concert will begin at 8 p.m. both days and tickets are $15-$75.
April 24-25: The Second Annual Omaha Health, Wellness and Fitness Expo will take place at the Omaha Civic Auditorium. The event takes place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is free.
April 24: Tim Conway and Friends will be at the Orpheum Theater, 409 S. 16th St. Conway will present his timeless comedy act at 2 p.m. Tickets start at $28.
April 25: Avant Salon will present the Fashion Show for Clean Water at Prestige, 810 S. 168th St. The show begins at 7 p.m. and tickets are $5.
April 25: The Nebraska Wind Symphony will perform at the Strauss Performing Arts Center Recital Hall at 3 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for seniors and students. Children 12 and under are free.
April 27-May 2: “Legally Blonde The Musical” is coming to the Orpheum Theater. The show is at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 8 p.m. Friday, 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Tickets start at $28.
