Start your summer season off with these fun-filled events on campus.
1. Summer Survival Bags
Pick up your free summer survival bag Monday at the following locations:
HPER: 11 a.m. to noon
UNO Criss Library: noon to 1 p.m.
Mammel Hall: 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Inside each survival kit, you’ll find sunscreen, sunglasses, bubbles, snacks, a jump rope, Frisbee, and a preview schedule of Durango Days Fall 2015. Make sure you snag a cup of free lemonade while you’re at it.
2. FunPlex Twilight Night
Show your MavCard on Tuesday and gain free entry to FunPlex, 7003 Q St., from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Trolley rides will be provided to students at two — Dodge and Pacific — campus housing locations.
3. Relax in the Pep Bowl
Play fun yard games Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Pep Bow, the grassy area on the main campus. For a $1 donation, you’ll receive free hotdog lunch including chips and sides. Free MavSpirit items will also be given out. This event is open to faculty and staff.
4. Free Snow Cone Truck
Swing by these locations for a free snow cone on Thursday. This event is open to faculty and staff.
HPER: 11 a.m. to noon
Mammel Hall: 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Maverick Village: 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
