A big thank you to Arthur Nguyen, a UNO student majoring computer engineering, for sharing these images from Wednesday’s DeStress Fest puppy-petting event.
Arthur, 19, said one of his “biggest passions and interests is photography, which to me is relaxing and gives me a break from engineering studies.” He first picked up a camera when he was about 8 years old and has been shooting ever since.
“I shoot mostly in raw because I love processing my photos to bring out their potential and the creative freedom that raw allows, he said.
Yesterday after one of his classes, he noticed the Pet-A-Pup event via the Gateway’s Facebook (bit.ly/1DYRg0L) and stopped by the Pep Bowl.
“I thought it would be a lot of fun, so a friend and I went straight to the Pep Bowl to meet the dogs even though we had to drive from PKI,” he said. “The dogs were a lot of fun, and the people from Domesti-Pups gave us a little background for each dog. It was a great way to unwind after morning classes and studying. I think the event was genius.”
